The reality market in Ahmedabad has just started growing. Prices in Ahmedabad are far lower than their Counterparts like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur and Others. Property prices in these cities started picking up 2-3 years back & they have almost reached their peak level in 2006. Ahmedabad was far behind these cities & it seems that 2007 will be the year of Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad has seen across the board rise in prices whether it is commercial or housing.
Commercial has seen a CAGR (Combined Annual Growth Rate) for the last two years of around 60% on the other hand housing has been a CAGR of almost 100%, land prices have shown a CAGR of almost 200%. Specific areas have grown rapidly like Satellite, Shilaj, Koba, and Ambli.

 Satellite

This area has driven the reality prices in Ahmedabad. The area has got close Proximity to C.G Road as well as S.G Road. It’s this feature that has attracted buyers to this area.
The area continues to reach new heights in the reality space. Newer Multiplexers, Commercial complexes are still coming up in this area.
The area to look out for is the 100ft Road to karnavati club.

This area still attracts a lot of flat scheme as it falls under the R1 zone of AUDA. The flat prices are still increases in this area. This is the right area for some one who Wants to live in flat that too near to everything.

 Vastrapur

This area is again similar to Satellite. Both these areas have developed simultaneously. Both have the same features.
This again is nearer to both C.G Road as well as S.G. Road. This area also has a sizeable non Gujarati population. It also houses one of the best institutes in the country the IIM, the University area is also nearer to this. Prices over the Period of time have stagnated as there is no more land for construction.

This area is good for those planning a flat. A new AUDA garden has also come up in this area. The area doesn’t have a list of commercial complexes, but still some projects are coming up.

 S.G. Highway

This road connects Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad. This road is becoming the commercial road of Ahmedabad. This road is witnessing a lot of activities.
It boasts of everything the Fun Republic, the big bazaar, the auto showrooms, the restaurants, the furniture showrooms & many more.
One of the largest malls in India admeasuring 4.5 lacs sq. feet of floor space is coming up with in few months. Commercial complexes, multiplexes, IT parks have become the hallmark of this road.
The space on the highway has allowed for almost everything. The 23km stretch is getting populated every minute. Prices on this road have soared & don’t seem to be stopping.
